Most of the notebook battery is made up of cylindrical battery cells
The current notebook battery made from batteries cells by series-parallel connection, there are commonly 4, 6, 9 cells battery in the market.
4 cells = 2 series - 2 parallel
6 cells = 3 series - 2 parallel
9 cells = 3 series - 3 parallel
A cell voltage (unit: Volt) = 3.6V or 3.7V
A cell electric quantity (unit: Ah) = 1.8/2.0/2.2/2.4/2.6/2.8AH
Mainstream notebooks are the 3-series 3-parallel 9-cell battery, we descrip the composition of the battery take an example of dell 6400 battery below.
We assume that cell voltage u = 3.7V; 2.2AH (batteries electricity = AH)
Since 3 conspiracy, so the battery voltage U total = 3.7V * 3 = 11.1V
Since 2 and, therefore, the battery charge = 2.2* 3 = 6.6AH (AH)
Battery module total capacity = 11.1 * 6.6 = 73WH
Minimum load notebook power state for 13w (ideal)
Battery time = 73WH/13W = 5.6 hours
Note: the above data for all of us understand the principles set by the battery composition, different manufacturers battery not identical
The Types of Batteries Cell
